Position Overview

The Senior .NET Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing high-quality .NET-based applications and services that align with Barcode Vault’s operational and business goals.

You will work on web applications, admin dashboards, inventory systems, and automation tools, integrating them with barcode hardware and backend APIs. The role demands strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a leadership mindset to mentor junior developers and ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

Software Design & Development

  • Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable applications using ASP.NET, MVC, and C#.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Barcode Vault’s ERP, inventory, and customer management platforms.

  • Implement modular, maintainable architecture following SOLID principles and design patterns.

  • Integrate systems with third-party APIs, barcode printers, and scanning devices.

  • Handle both backend development (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server) and frontend interaction (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX).

  • Write efficient, reusable, and clean code with proper documentation.

Database & API Development

  • Design and manage SQL Server databases, including tables, stored procedures, triggers, and indexing.

  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs and Web Services for internal and external integrations.

  • Optimize database queries and improve application performance.

  • Ensure data security, integrity, and backup management.

Application Maintenance & Optimization

  • Maintain, debug, and upgrade existing .NET applications and web tools.

  • Identify and resolve software performance bottlenecks.

  • Handle bug tracking, version control, and deployment on production servers.

  • Collaborate with the IT and operations team to align software functionalities with hardware systems (like barcode printers and scanners).

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Guide and mentor junior developers and interns.

  • Review code to ensure best practices and consistency across projects.

  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and management teams for technical planning and project execution.

  • Participate in project documentation, requirement analysis, and architectural design discussions.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

Core Technical Skills

  • Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Framework/Core.

  • Strong command of SQL Server and relational database design.

  • Solid experience in Entity Framework, LINQ, and ADO.NET.

  • Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful API development and integration.

  • Knowledge of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, or Identity Framework).

  • Experience working with Windows Server / IIS deployment environments.

  • Familiar with Git, SVN, or Bitbucket version control.

Additional/Preferred Skills

  • Experience with .NET Core, Blazor, or Web API 2.0.

  • Knowledge of Angular, React, or Vue.js (for frontend integration).

  • Exposure to barcode systems, label generation modules, or ERP-style applications.

  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS).

  • Experience integrating email services, PDF generation, or file upload/download systems.

Educational Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday 

  • Timings: 10:00 AM – 07:00 PM
